Textile machinery industry accelerates technology upgrading, automation products or synchronous growth
[recently, automation today " With the opportunity of hosting the third textile machinery automation technology seminar during the 2010 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia exhibition, we once again conducted a market survey on the application of automation products in the textile machinery industry. A total of 115 valid questionnaires were collected in this survey, involving 80 departments of 64 textile machinery manufacturing enterprises. Compared with the survey in 2009, this survey shows that the application level of automation products in the textile machinery industry has been further improved, especially the industrial control, as the core of textile machinery automation, has further developed to special control software and industrial computer. In terms of product selection, the results of this survey are roughly the same as those of 2009. Product cost performance, system stability and reliability are the primary factors for many textile machinery enterprises to consider when choosing automation products.]
the automation of textile machinery began to pick up
China's textile machinery industry is a fully competitive market. If any enterprise wants to not be eliminated in such fierce competition, it must speed up the pace of product structure adjustment and improve its core competitiveness, which also brings certain opportunities for automation product providers
according to the data released by the National Bureau of statistics, in 2009, textile machinery continued the downward trend of 2008, with slow growth. Coupled with the competition of foreign products and the impact of the global financial crisis, Chinese textile machinery enterprises are facing severe challenges. By the first quarter of 2010; The textile machinery industry fell slightly, down about 5% to 10% month on month, with a year-on-year increase of more than 70%. Affected by the dual pull of exports and domestic demand, it is expected to increase slightly in the second quarter of 2010
the decline of the textile machinery industry has had a certain impact on automation product providers. According to the information from the National Bureau of statistics, the total market size of automation products in China's textile machinery industry in 2009 was close to 2.4 billion yuan, reaching 2.39 billion yuan, a decrease of 7.0% year-on-year in 2008. But by the first quarter of 2010; The market of automation products in the textile machinery industry increased by 70.5% year-on-year and decreased by 9% month on month
in terms of textile machinery products, the market capacity of traditional textile machinery with low technical content has decreased significantly, while the textile machinery products with high efficiency, energy saving and high added value have been greatly improved, which has also brought a certain market for automation products
distribution of automation products in the textile machinery industry
the survey also shows that the larger the scale of textile machinery manufacturing enterprises and the wider the product coverage, the higher the level of automation and informatization, and the more automation products used
automation is the only way to improve the performance of mechanical products and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. With the development and application of computer networks, power electronics and other technologies, its importance has become increasingly prominent, and its application in textile machinery will be more and more extensive. The survey results show that more high-end textile machinery manufacturers have gone from the initial application of single automation products such as PLC, frequency converter and servo to the demand for comprehensive application of multiple automation products and digital integrated production and manufacturing of equipment networks
most of the enterprises participating in the survey said that due to the impact of the crisis, there was less new product research and development in the textile machinery industry in the first quarter of 2010, but this kind of method is applicable to the experiment, and only shows a state of widespread and serious doubt. From the beginning of half a year, driven by demand, the investment in new product research and development is expected to increase. However, most of the interviewed enterprises have continued the previous technical improvements or upgrades in software, machinery and other aspects, and basically do not change the configuration and brand of automation products for the sake of product reliability and stability
this survey shows that at present, the brand coverage of automation products used in the textile machinery industry is very broad. From Siemens, abb, Mitsubishi, to baccalais, Delta and Lenz, the main disadvantages of these two transmission modes: the former requires regular lubrication, and almost all automation manufacturers can find their own users in textile machinery enterprises. The questionnaire also shows that the same textile machinery enterprise uses at least three automation brands at the same time. The questionnaire from Shanghai Yifang Machinery Co., Ltd. shows that the brands of automation products they use involve at least eight brands, such as Siemens, abb, baccalais, Phoenix Contact, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Omron, Fuji Electric. The automation products used by smaller textile machinery enterprises, such as Changzhou Tonghe Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., also include at least three brands, such as Mitsubishi, Delta and Lenz
textile machinery enterprises purchase automation products
the 64 textile machinery manufacturing enterprises participating in the survey said they would purchase new automation products in the next year
according to the survey, 55 enterprises will consider buying motors and drives in the near future, accounting for 85.9% of the surveyed enterprises. As the main driving device, frequency converter has the largest demand in the textile machinery automation market. Previous relevant data showed that textile machinery users need 80000 to 90000 general-purpose frequency converters a year, while the annual demand for special frequency converters for components such as weft storage and slot barrels is also about tens of thousands
at present, AC frequency conversion technology has increasingly become the mainstream way to drive three-phase asynchronous motors, and the growth rate of low-voltage frequency converters is higher than the average growth rate of automation products. There is still a certain gap between China's inverter technology and developed countries. The market of low-voltage inverter in textile machinery industry can be said to be firmly controlled by Taiwan and Japanese manufacturers. China's inverter manufacturers should seize the opportunity of extensive product upgrading in textile machinery and other industries in the past two years to improve their own strength
among the automation products planned to be purchased by textile machinery, industrial control products occupy the second place, and 52 enterprises said they would purchase relevant products in the near future. The survey shows that at present, the industrial control products used by textile machinery enterprises are mainly PLC (64), servo system (55), man-machine interface (48), industrial Ethernet (38). How should we judge the quality of fixtures? There are mainly the following three points:) and on-site main line (32). The use of industrial computer and machine vision is relatively small, 10 and 20 respectively, accounting for only 15.6% and 31.2% of the enterprises participating in the survey. Previous investigations have shown that most textile equipment can meet the control requirements of production process with PLC, and only a few equipment use industrial computer plus PLC to form a control system in order to meet more complex control requirements, such as sizing machine, new roving machine, and some chemical fiber equipment. Therefore, at present, the consumption of industrial computer in the textile industry is still small (Figure 1)
according to experts in the textile machinery industry, among the main textile machinery products, the annual demand is the largest for various looms. On average, each of these looms is equipped with a small PLC, which is mainly used for related detection, alarm, speed control and machine start and stop. Although the number of spinning machines is less than 5% of the total number of all kinds of textile machinery, there are relatively more PLCs used on spinning machines. A single spinning machine generally uses more than a dozen PLCs. The number of carding machines is about 12% of the total number of spinning machines, which are mainly controlled by small PLC. Other types of textile machinery are basically controlled by PLC, and some relatively simple equipment are controlled by MCU or other control methods. However, with the industrial upgrading of textile machinery industry, the application of special controllers and industrial control computers, especially fanless industrial control computers, is gradually popularized in the textile machinery industry
in addition, 31 enterprises said they would buy corresponding software, 30 enterprises said they would buy power supply and voltage stabilizing equipment, and 26 enterprises would buy automatic instruments. Few enterprises choose general electric equipment, only 15. In the subsequent survey, the respondents said that the basic products such as general electric, electrical instruments and so on are not updated quickly, and the purchasing department often purchases them in advance at the beginning of production (Figure 2)
how textile machinery manufacturers choose automation products
the results of the questionnaire on how enterprises choose products are consistent with the results of previous surveys conducted by automation today for various industries. Six respondents listed brand awareness as the first factor, and technical support and service as the least important factor, indicating the textile machinery users' recognition of the automation brand. Among the 15 respondents who listed technical support and service as the first element, 8 also listed brand awareness as the least important factor. In addition, among the 40 enterprises that participated in the survey, 50 readers listed price as the second factor affecting choice. The reliability and stability of products have become the most important factors for textile machinery enterprises to consider when choosing automatic products. 60 readers listed this element as the first element. In addition, the cost of the manufacturer's technical training and later system maintenance is another factor to be considered (Figure 3)
four surveys conducted in various industries show that machine users have become more and more mature in choosing automation products
as an automation product provider, what should we do to provide services to users in the textile machinery industry, so as to smoothly expand the market? In this survey, 75 participants clearly expressed the hope that automation product providers can provide case analysis and product design services, and 60 said that the existing successful cases were very helpful to their actual work. Participants in the survey agreed that suppliers of automation products should regularly hold technical and case training
Bian Guixiang, deputy general manager of Yancheng Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., said to: the popularization of knowledge in general seminars held by automation manufacturers is very meaningful for ordinary technicians, but for senior technical engineers in textile machinery factories, we often need more detailed application and design knowledge ceremonies. However, the deeper technical training of automation manufacturers often needs to be charged. We hope that automation enterprises can provide more technical support and services to our textile machinery factory
in actual production, there is a consensus that the system maintenance cost is high due to system instability, and 90 readers chose this item. Like the previous survey results, respondents generally believe that the increase in maintenance frequency caused by repeated software modifications and system instability has affected production efficiency. Therefore, whether automation product suppliers can provide timely services has also become a factor for textile machinery manufacturers to consider when choosing products
through the visit during the exhibition, it was found that from the perspective of the textile machinery products participating in the textile exhibition, as the latest developed textile machinery and equipment in the world, these products not only reflect the characteristics of the automation and continuity of the frame structure of high-speed rail and motor car in the production process, but also have the characteristics of energy conservation, high efficiency, green and environmental protection
